Summary
CleanHeights Robotics was incorporated on 16 March 2020. It was founded by Rishipal Singh, a former Senior Systems Analyst for the Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) of Singapore. As he was based in the city, he saw how high-rise facade cleaning operations subjected human workers to dangers at heights. He then embarked on a journey of research, conversations with industry players and eventually decided to fully focus on this project. He attended a robotics training course where he met 3 other attendees who were interested in joining him in this journey. Thus, CleanHeights Robotics was established. Our primary focus is to provide a facade cleaning solution utilising robotics, mechatronics and artificial intelligence in order to improve current operations while eliminating the risk of workers cleaning at heights. Our product is known as MakadiBot. "Makadi" is the Hindi word for "spider". The ultimate aim is to invent a spider-like facade cleaning robot capable of autonomous climbing and cleaning operations. However, this road is not without challenges. Hence, we are focusing on modifying current systems (scissor lift/boom lift/gondola) to address current needs while building our expertise towards the MakadiBot.
